The Grocery department is serving a variety of grocery such as confectionery foods and products.
You will be in charge of keeping shelves stocked and operating the cash register and it’s important to communicate with other team members to maintain inventory.
There are many opportunities to speak to customers as a Store Team Member, you will be expected to provide excellent service to customers throughout the store in a friendly trustworthy manner in response to the customer needs.

As a Store Team Member in the Meat/Fish Department, you have a role in processing, packing, and ensuring a fresh and appealing meat and fish display by keeping it stocked with quality, non-expired products. Utilizing our own specialized distribution channel to offer fresh and high-quality Japanese products, we are able to provide our customers a variety of highly fresh “Sashimi” such as Japanese tuna and Yellowtail, and “Wagyu” beef imported from Japan. We also prepare the thinly sliced meat for “Sukiyaki” and “Shabu-Shabu” in a form suitable for Japanese cooking recipes.

As a Store Team Member in the Produce Department, you have a role in receiving, trimming, packing and pricing all related to agricultural products such as vegetables and fruits, and ensuring a fresh and appealing produce display with seasonality by keeping it stocked with colorful high-quality products.

As a Store Team Member in the Deli “Nagomi” Department, you have a role in preparing, cooking, packing fresh items specialized in Japanese cuisine, such as Sushi, Rice Balls, Eel Bowls, Poke Bowls, Bento Boxes, and more. We are particular about the rice for our products by using the only high-grade rice imported from Japan, and serve not only Japanese food such as “Udon”and “Soba”but also Western and Chinese food with deliberated product planning aimed the customer’s needs and lifestyle.

In addition to customer service at service counters and cash registers, a store office clerk performs a wide range of work from sales promotion support work to administrative work in the store such as receiving supplies and mails, managing employee attendance, accounting, answering phones and emails, and entering sales data.

A management trainee will be expected to perform jobs related to all store operations, such as store sales, staff attendance, and customer service as a trainee. Since it is hard to perform without understanding the work of each department, experienced staff are assigned to this position involved in planning events and purchasing items, training new employees, and promoting communication between staff.

Before the store opens, we prepare, cook and display food items. Since this position is scheduled in the early morning, it will fit for a morning person who desires to work before going to school or other work.

Before the store opens, Early Morning Stokers display and restock items with quality, in-demand and visually appealing items with a limited time. This position requires speed and productivity.
